David Shepard - President, CEO

 Dave Shepard is the last remaining original founder of The Prime Choice.  He and his two brothers started The Prime Choice as an upscale butcher shop here in Gaithersburg in October of 1981.  He was the founding President taking his Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland and production background to guide the retail food business to profitability.  Along the way, with the purchase of a small restaurant next door, Dave branched into the catering business.  Primarily serving the surrounding corporate market, the catering business grew rapidly to quickly include social events as well.  Dave is always open to explore his creativity which he brings to every event.  He is even in the Guiness Book of World Records for his work engineering and producing the World's Largest Flag Cake at both the base of the Washington Monument and The Statue of Libery as well as the World's Largest Bloody Mary in the French Quarter of New Orleans on New Year's Day 2000.  Dave Brings his 20+ years in catering expertise to ensure only the best for his highly valued clients.  He is an excellent team leader making sure every event
